After an almost inactive sports athletic year in 2020 due to the restrictive measures for the covid-19 pandemic, Portarathlon is coming back to fascinate us! Naxos will host the Portarathlon International Combined Events Meeting, as it did in 2018 and 2019.
Portarathlon, Women’s Heptathlon and Men’s Decathlon, will be held at the Municipal Stadium of Naxos on the 22nd and 23nd of May.
The 3rd Portarathlon will once again welcome a large number of athletes from all over the world. It is highly promising that in 2020 lots of them had expressed their interest in taking part in the Event.
Portarathlon is also expected to be attended by the best Greek decathletes and the most important Greek heptathletes as the Greek National Men-Women Combined Events Championship will be held at the same time.
Those who will find themselves in Naxos on the 22nd and 23th of May, will enjoy a great sports show, the fantastic natural scenery that Naxos offers, the positive energy that the legendary Portara Monument inspires and will have the opportunity to indulge in the warm Naxian hospitality.
We expect a reunion of champions, with important names and great performances, as Portarathlon opens an Olympic year.
